About Ilhui
Born in a small town in Mexico, Ilhui’s path was shaped by both curiosity and purpose. As a child, she couldn’t understand why the river that ran through her town once a vibrant source of life, was polluted and dying, or why a vast majority of people in her country were sick or metabolically unwell.
This early realization planted the seed of a lifelong mission: to understand the relationship between human behavior, health, and the natural world.
Since then, Ilhui has been driven by a clear sense of purpose. From a young age, she organized lake cleanups, community initiatives, and educational events, earning multiple grants and the opportunity to pursue higher education abroad. Her journey has taken her across borders and cultures, contributing to research, innovation, and global transformation.
From educating rural communities on preventive health and environmental awareness to fundraising millions of dollars for projects that positively impact public health and the environment, to conducting scientific research in advanced European laboratories and innovation hubs in North America. She has also interviewed and learned from some of the most influential doctors, biohackers, scientists, and experts in longevity and sustainability.
Every chapter of her life has been guided by a single, powerful insight: when human health is compromised, society falters, and so does the Earth.
With a multidisciplinary background in biology, chemical engineering, nutrition, and longevity science, Ilhui brings a systems-thinking approach to human well-being—connecting the dots between food systems, biology, and ecosystem dynamics. Her work advocates for a new health paradigm that is both deeply personal and inherently planetary: one grounded in ancestral wisdom, scientific rigor, and a commitment to equity.
Ilhui believes that health should not be a privilege. Her vision is to equip individuals with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to live longer, healthier, and more conscious lives. Today, through research, writing, and mission-driven ventures, she stands at the intersection of nature, science, and technology, bridging the wisdom of the natural world and biophilia with the innovations of the future.
